Troubleshooting — The Music Won't Play!

If you have trouble playing the MIDI recordings on this website, try visiting another website that has MIDI recordings, and see if you can get them to play. If they won't play, this suggests that the problem is probably a matter of your computer setup, and not specific to the SingingWood website or its server. To correct the problem you may need to reconfigure some aspect of your computer system.

If your computer won't play MIDI recording on other sites, read the following troubleshooting "basics" checklist of simple but common problems:

• Make sure that the volume of your computer speaker is not all the way down.
• If you have headphones plugged into your computers speaker jack, check to see if there is sound in the headphones.
• If you want sound to come out of the speakers, unplug the headphones from the computer.
• If your computer is connected to multimedia speakers, make sure they are on, and the volume is up.
• If you have connected your computer to stereo system, make sure it is on, and the volume is up.
